Abstract

In this paper I try to show how Popper's suggestion to change an optimistic assumption about politicians can help us to stress the social contract between government and citizens. This paper has three parts the first two sections revisit Karl Popper's epistemology in order to bridge the domain of public policies with his theory. The last section builds upon the institution accountability in the political process.
